On behalf of everyone at LAPP, I sincerely hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy at this time.

Who would have thought just weeks ago, that we would soon be starting business letters with phrases like
these? A lot has changed since. Borders around the world are closed, most countries have shut down their
public lives and the global economy has been set on hold. The coronavirus has drastically changed everything in the blink of an eye.

I am writing you to inform you about how all of this impacts LAPP.

Due to our international supply chain and global presence, we felt first effects of the coronavirus outside Asia in an early stage of the pandemic. Therefore, we decided to form a Coronavirus Taskforce for the region of LA EMEA (Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa) in mid-February that since allowed us to efficiently react to the developments.

Keeping our employees safe while serving our customers are our top priorities. We implemented various
measures to ensure just that, e.g. strict social distancing rules, home office for those who are able to work
remote and improved hygiene in production and logistics.

This as well as our strong, decentralized supply chain with multiple central warehouses and large stocks allows us to keep our services up and running. So I’m proud to say: We are fully capable and ready to deliver. Nonetheless, the disrupted global supply chains as well as temporary closures of some LAPP companies due to national shutdowns might affect us in the future. Therefore, we kindly ask for your understanding, should you experience any delays in our delivery processes.

I promise you, everyone at LAPP is working hard to fulfill your needs and to adapt to this extraordinary situation. Please reach your usual contact persons at our customer service if you have any questions. Of course, through our e-shops you can check product availabilities and place your orders 24/7.

Dear customers,

we have taken all measures to maintain our service offer and delivery times for you, despite the current difficult situation regarding COVID-19.

Unfortunately, the increased occurrence of Europe-wide border controls as well as the closure of borders to neighbouring countries is also having an impact on our service areas. We expect delays in our procurement and delivery processes and cannot guarantee any specific delivery dates at the moment.

We kindly ask you to be patient should your goods not arrive at the specified time. The current situation presents us all with challenges and we are doing everything we can to adapt our work processes to the current situation.

We have also expanded our measures internally once again and have introduced a home office obligation to protect our employees. In this way, we want to counteract the further spread of the COVID-19 virus and avoid infections.

We would like to ask for your understanding in this respect as well, should the usual communication channels take a little longer. We are currently optimising all existing processes in the best possible way to meet current conditions.
